How to import contacts from Salesforce CRM?

Learn how to import your contacts from Salesforce CRM into Google Sheets to send a mail merge with Gmail from your spreadsheet.

Awesome Table Connectors allows you to import Salesforce data, including your contacts.

Prerequisites

  • You have a Salesforce account.

  • You have installed and launched Awesome Table Connectors.

  1. In the Awesome Table add-on Home screen, click Create new request.

    The list of available connectors is displayed.

  2. Open the Salesforce connector.

  3. On the Connect to Salesforce screen, click Sign in with Salesforce.

  4. On the Salesforce authorization screen, enter your username and password and click Log In.

    You are now logged in with the Salesforce connector.

  5. Open the Select data drop-down and select List records.

  6. Open the Salesforce object drop-down and select Contact.

  7. (Optional) Use the Preview & Select columns feature to choose the columns you need, edit their names, and configure a sort order.

    1. Click Preview & Select columns.

      A new window opens.

    2. Make the changes you want.

    3. Click Save changes.

  8. Click Run to start your request.

    If you are running a request for the first time, the Permission needed pop-up window opens.

That's it! You have imported your contacts from Salesforce into your Google spreadsheet. You are now ready to use YAMM to email your contact list!
