Available daily quotas
Your daily quota depends on your Google account type and YAMM plan.
| YAMM plan | Google account type | Recipients per 24 hours | Recipients per 24 hours (with personalized attachments) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | @gmail.com or Google Workspace | Up to 20 per user | Up to 100 per user |
| Pro | @gmail.com or Google Workspace in a free trial or warm-up period | Up to 400 per user | Up to 100 per user |
| Pro | Google Workspace (confirmed) | Up to 1,500 per user | Up to 1,500 per user |
New Google Workspace accounts start with a 14-day free trial, followed by a warm-up period. During both stages, your quota is capped at up to 400 recipients per 24 hours. Once complete, your account reaches full capacity at up to 1,500 recipients per 24 hours (per user in the domain).

How is the quota computed?
Quota is based on the number of recipients, not the number of emails sent. For example, sending one email to one recipient with two cc recipients counts as three against your quota. Learn more: Add cc or bcc recipients in your emails.
Quota resets on a rolling 24-hour basis, not at a fixed time of day. Google may reset it slightly earlier or later than expected.
Google also controls sending limits independently and may restrict any account at any time. Learn more: Gmail sending limits in Google Workspace
Factors that affect your quota
The following actions also count against your daily quota:
- Test emails — Learn more: Receive a test email before starting your mail merge
- Personalized attachments — See quota limits in the table above
- Alias sends — Learn more: Use an alias / Send from another email address
