How does YAMM handle DMARC and DKIM?

Read this article to learn more about DKIM and DMARC.

info

If DKIM and DMARC are set up on your domain, they will be used in YAMM, as it uses your Gmail account.

What is DKIM?

In your organization, you may use the DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) standard to help prevent spoofing on outgoing messages sent from your domain. DKIM lets an organization take responsibility for messages that are in transit.

Learn more from the Google documentation: Set up DKIM to prevent email spoofing.

What is DMARC?

Domain-based Message Authentication Reporting and Conformance (DMARC) helps email senders and receivers verify incoming messages by authenticating the sender's domain. DMARC also defines the action to take on suspicious incoming messages.

Set up Sender Policy Framework (SPF) (learn more about SPF) and DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) before you set up DMARC.

Check your DNS records

If you have DKIM or DMARK enabled on your domain and you have trouble sending emails through YAMM, you can check your DMARC and DKIM configuration using this tool.

Based on the result of your search, you'll find all the required information. To explore further, follow the links to the help center articles.
